Time's Up!

Footsteps echo down the corridor…

     You immediately freeze in your work. A guard is heading your way. Not wanting to be caught in an escape attempt, you toss all of your objects below the bed and you hop under the covers. The footsteps get nearer and nearer until they stop right outside your door. A flashlight beam hits your face and a guard smiles in at you. “10 minutes until we come to transfer you to your new cell. You best be ready for us when we get here.” The flashlight beam bobs away as he continues his way down the cell block. That gives you the kick you need. In 10 minutes you will be moved to a new cell and you won’t be able to escape then.
